Typical Reinforced Wall

Instructions for Typical Europa Reinforced Wall

Compacted Base Material:
Compacted Granular A (well-graded aggregate, ranging in size from .25 inch to 1.5 inch and containing less than 10% fines) to a depth of 6 inches (15 cm) or more.
Sand Setting Bed:
Screed sand to a depth of 1 inch. Level block front-to-back and side-to-side.
Infill and Drainage Zone:
Fill blocks and 12 inches (30 cm) behind the wall with free-draining, 1/2 inch, clean stone. Protect the drainage zone from migration of fines by placing filter cloth between drainage zone and backfill material.
