Recommended Installation

Construct a base approximately 6 in. deep of crushed stone (0.75 in.-to-fines). (For vehicular applications, base should be approximately 10-to-12 in. deep.)
Compact base with plate compactor in 4-inch lifts.
Use 1.0 in. to 1.5 in. of washed concrete sand as a leveling course.
Use a solid edge restraint to hold pavers in place at exposed edges.
Lay pavers in a random pattern similar to the Sample Layout Pattern.
After pavers have been laid, use a plate compactor to settle the pavers in place.
Spread sand over the entire paver surface and compact again to work the sand into the joints.
Sweep up the excess sand ... and enjoy your new Village Pavers.
